Super Kids Save the World gives kids (and their parents) the power to go green! Designed with sustainable materials and practices, this super exhibit gives kids real superhero training starting with the four R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle!

The exhibit includes several distinct educational areas:

Sell fruits and vegetables in the Farmer’s Market.

Sort trash onto a conveyor belt system and drive a recycling truck in the Recycling Center.

Explore and fill the tank of a convertible Smart car with biofuel in the Reduce Fuel Station.

Don a superhero cape and boots and prepare and pack a healthy lunch in the House.

Pick fresh vegetables and take them to the market in the Garden.

Try on funky clothes and see the result in the many mirrors in the Re-Use Charity Shop.

Use a microscope to identify algae from other microorganisms and play a virtual game to speed up biofuel production in the Research Lab.

NOW BOOKING FIELD TRIPS! Contact Holly at hollyguinn@culturalarts.org or (256) 543-2787, ext. 31
