THE RED BRICK COLLECTIVE
The Red Brick Collective is the chamber music division of the Etowah Youth Orchestras. Each year the EYO has multiple chamber ensembles that perform at different functions and events throughout the state. Ensembles in the Red Brick Collective have included the EYO String Quartet, the EYO Woodwind Quintet, the EYO Saxophone Quartet and the EYO Brass Quintet. Ensembles of the Red Brick Collective work with EYO staff and guest coaches.

For the 2016-2017 season, the EYO and the Red Brick Collective introduce Flutissimo! – the EYO Flute Quartet. Quartet members include Savannah Perman (senior, Southside High School), Kelsey Gable (senior, Glencoe High School), Erin Day (freshman, Southside High School), and Autumn Scott (senior, Pathways Academy). Flutissimo! is coached by Debbie Boos.
Coosa River Diary is the folk/bluegrass/Americana ensemble of the Etowah Youth Orchestras. CRD performs traditional folk music, along with bluegrass and acoustic versions of popular music ranging from country to rock and roll, and from Bob Dylan to Mumford and Sons. Current members include (left to right) Sam Summerhill, guitar and vocals; Mike Gagliardo, director and trumpet; Corey Butts, trumpet; Michael Panik, accordion and vocals; Katie Peaspanen, flute; Hannah Herndon, saxophone; Max Garrett, drums; Zach Brewer, saxophone; Andrew Panik, banjo, guitar and vocals; and Chloe Smith, violin, mandolin and vocals.
