Program is Seeking Mentors
Imagination Place Children's Museum and the Hardin Center are partnering with Gadsden City Schools to improve the lives of elementary and middle school students in our community. Becoming a mentor is easier and less time consuming than you may think.
Opportunities to Help:
-"Lunch Buddy" mentors visit for 25 minutes, once or more per week during their mentee's lunch period.
-"After-School Buddy" mentors visit for 45 minutes, once or more per week, on site, during the Community Education after-school programs.
Mentoring Benefits:
-Feel great about doing something that impacts a child's life
-Gain hands-on experience with children from all walks of life
-Build experience for your resume
-The Hardin Center is offering an opportunity to earn "Time Dollars" to gain a full membership at the Hardin Centers through the hours you volunteer as a mentor
