1. How did your musical career begin?
During my first year at Fort Payne, I wanted to participate in an extracirricular activity to meet new people, and music had always intrigued me, so I joined the band.

2. Who are your primary musical influences?
I can't exactly say that I have any primary influences. Music was just another hobby at first, and I had no idea I'd end up enjoying it so much or pursuing it outside of school. So I guess I never had a chance to be exposed to anyone who might really influence me.

3. What do you like to listen to when you aren't playing your instrument?
Mainly alternative, but otherwise my taste is very random. I'll listen to almost anything.

4. What are your hobbies outside of music?
Writing (mainly poetry), sketching, and reading

5. What has been your greatest opportunity provided to you because of your musical talent?
Going to All-State Orchestra last year

6. What are your favorite movies or television shows?
My favorite movies are Big Fish, Pleasantville, the most recent version of Peter Pan, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind; my favorite TV shows are Family Guy and Arrested Development.

7. You can have dinner with any four people, living or dead. Who would they be?
Annie Dillard, Mary Boleyn, Albert Einstein, and Anne Frank

8. What are your plans after high school?
I want to major in English and possibly minor in philosophy or religion. I'd really like to be an editor.

9. Who is your favorite historical figure?
Leonardo da Vinci
