1. How did your musical career begin?
My musical career began when I was very young. I always sang in church, but it wasn't until I was handed a violin in fifth grade that my career really got going. When I started sixth grade, I started playing trumpet, and my band director handed me a French horn the summer after that year and it's been history ever since.
2. Who are your primary musical influences?
Well, I have two, one of which is a person, the other a place. My first influence is my Mom. She went back to Jacksonville after having the four of us, and graduated with a vocal performance degree. She's the choir director at my church and has been since I was little, so there's always been music in my house and in my life. My other influence is the summer camp my we go to. There's always music, and I've always been encouraged to express myself through it and show my talents.
3. What do you like to listen to when you aren't playing your instrument?
It depends on my mood, but a few of my favorites genres are orchestral music, acoustic, instrumental, and a'capella.

5. What has been your greatest opportunity provided to you because of your musical talent?
I'm going to Jacksonville State University on a $3000 a year tuition scholarship to play for the Southerners and other ensembles.
6. What are your favorite movies or television shows?
My favorite movies are intellectual thrillers (like the Hannibal series), Fantasy, and of course, the occassional chick flick.
