Robot Carnival (Interactive Science exhibit focusing on Robotics)
March 6 – June 30, 2010
Join us for a special sneak preview on from 5-7 pm on March 5 in conjunction with Downtown Gadsden's First Friday. The exhibition's grand opening is Saturday, March 6 at 10 am and will include refreshments and special guests. Authentic Star Wars characters will be on hand from 10 am until Noon to greet visitors and formally open the exhibition.

The exhibition features many individual robotic elements designed to engage viewers of all ages. It comes with a complete educational program to enlighten and inspire scientific creativity. Individuals may interact with the exhibition using controls to manipulate the robots and use them to perform tasks. Many uses of robotics are displayed, from scientific instruments to human-like robots. The exhibition received the 2007 THEA Award for Outstanding Museum Touring Exhibitions.
